Advent calendar - Part 1

A few posts back, I showed you a work-in-progress... I've scanned each page of this advent calendar before I bind it so here they are. They all use Dustin Pike digi stamps as main images + some other stamps I used to make some of the backgrounds.
They are the size of a coaster (9 x 9 cm) that I will use to make the covers. I tried to tell a little story from Dec 1st to Dec 31st... yes this an advent calendar "with a twist" because it goes until the end of the month!

Here we go!

On December 1st, it's about time to mail our Christmas list to Santa...

... who is waiting for it at the North Pole...

His little helpers start receiving big bags full of mails...

... while in town some are choosing their tree...

Santa's elves are checking if we've been naughty or nice...

... while in town the house starts being decorated...

First thing: the star on top of the tree...

... meanwhile Santa's helpers are preparing Rudolph's sleigh...

...an elf is painting candy canes...

...Rudolph is ready!

...although in town the tree is not totally ready yet...

...not ready at all! Some little mice are getting into mischief under the tree!

Luckily there is a reliable guardian waiting outside in the cold winter...

... while some others are having fun in the tree in the warmth of the house!

A quick shot to remember this moment?

The fireplace is decorated too...

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without holly!

At the North Pole, the toys are packed up...

Gingerbread and candy cane, what else?? ;-)

The Carolers are in the streets... Christmas 's approaching!!

To be continued... tomorrow and every day until December 31st!
